Dropas Effect is a company established to instill and promote virtue, integrity, and positivity among people with the goal of bettering life for all. This is done through books, public speaking, personal/social media interaction, etc. Target market spans humanity, although majority of past speaking engagements have catered to schools.

About The Author

Before the age of thirty, I never aspired to be a writer, but one must never underestimate the power of inspiration. For me, the result of this magical force was, The Dropas: The Complete Trilogy—a fantasy-adventure series that I revamped, combined in one book, and re-released during the summer of 2021. Briefly stepping away from the genre, I created a guidebook for adolescents, young adults, and anyone else who might benefit from the multiplicity of my life experiences, more specifically wonder, wisdom, wealth, and wanderlust. 

 As a kid growing up in a small northwest suburb of Chicago, I loved learning, enjoyed creating games, dreamt about traveling the world and far-away places, and devised alternate ways to do some of the most mundane activities. Inheriting my father’s athleticism allowed me to play almost any sport.

My education background includes a Bachelor’s Degree with a double major in Computer Science and Mathematics, an MBA with an emphasis in Finance, a Master’s Degree and Certification in Administration, both in Education.

 Bucking the trend of my ancestors and relatives, I never saw myself as a “company lifer.” I am fortunate to be both left and right-brained balanced as evidenced by my personal interests and diverse professions that I imparted throughout this guide. I retired early and have chosen to dedicate much of my time to a new company I founded, Dropas Effect LLC, the abbreviated mission being to promote integrity, positivity, and virtue along with a second business, Speckled Sparrow LLC, co-founded with my wife featuring leather accessories.

 I am happily married with no children. I enjoy writing, listening to most music genres, physical activity, nature, traveling, and helping others succeed. To date, my adventures have taken me all over North America, Europe, parts of Africa, South America, Asia, the Caribbean, and various locations underwater as a scuba diver. Marine exploration afforded me the opportunity to swim with manta rays, sharks, sting rays, octopi, and a plethora of other aquatic life. At a very young age, I opted for financial discipline and investing my hard-earned money with the goal of retiring early so I could focus on my personal interests, passions, and motivational speaking to students, young adults, and adults.

Tapping Into Both Sides of the Brain

I’m fortunate to be both left- (analytical) and right-brained (creative and artistic) balanced. We could debate for hours whether the ability is due to nature (genetic inheritance or other biological factors) or nurture (influence from external sources). Both my parents were right-brain dominant. To some degree, my dad demonstrated left brain tendencies. One sibling showed signs of tapping into both sides and the other two unquestionably established residency in their right lobe of gray matter. My creativity is supported by the nature theory. What about the analytical side? Did it arise from nurture, engaging in logical activities of little interest to my parents? There is no definitive answer. This is for certain, I partook in a diverse range of activities and regardless of my interest level in each subject matter both in and outside of school, my best effort was put forth to learn as much as possible.
